Urban landuse location in coastal area is considered as a major criterion for human settlements. Jetties are very important coastal structures in these areas to provide high quality, cost-effective and confidential activities to people, companies and organizations. The establishment of jetties in portion to urban seaside, urban and marine transportation network is seemed to be very much interrelated. With respect to this issue, location of jetties had given several impacts to various fields. As such, the emitted air pollution by ships has been considered as one of the major effective environmental elements by many urban planners. Increasing jetties has both positive (accessibility) and negative (air pollution) impacts for coastal cites. Therefore, there is a need to manage a scientifically based approach to convert conceptual configuration of non polluted and accessible areas into strategic locations of jetties to explain the linkage between accessibility and air quality. The mathematical models are widely used to evaluate the air quality near the seaside and roadways. Many models have been applied to describe the pollutants from vehicles. These models provide theoretical estimation of air pollution levels as well as temporal and spatial variations for present, proposed and estimated conditions. The estimates are actually functioning meteorology, path geometry, and downwind receptor location. The arrival of new technologies such as Geographic Information System (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS) and Global Positioning System (GPS) gave a digital tool for Coastal cities mapping and planning. With respect to these issues, in present paper important environmental factors and transportation elements are considered during mathematical and spatial modeling process to improve jetties site selection, and thus lead to higher land values.
