چکیده	In this study chemical compositions of the essential oil of Ferulago phialocarpa Rech.f. & H. Riedl, an endemic medicinal plant from Iran, was analyzed by GC and GC-MS. This is the first report representing the extract of F. phialocarpa. In total, 29 components have been identified constituting about 96.1 % of oil composition. The principal fraction of the essential oils was found to be monoterpene hydrocarbons (60.81 %) with α-pinene (43.38 %) as the major component. Oxygen-containing monoterpenes (9.07 %) constituted another major fraction of the oil with cis-chrysanthenyl acetate (5.91 %) as the main constituent.
