The present work explains a green and environmentally friendly method for the synthesis of CaZnFe2O4@Olive leaves-Cu magnetic nanoparticles (CaZnFe2O4@OLE-Cu MNPs). The characterization of these prepared green MNPs was performed using an array of analytical techniques including Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-Ray Diffraction Pattern (XRD), Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), Energy-Dispersive X-Ray (EDX), Vibrating-Sample Magnetometry (VSM) and Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission (ICP-OES) techniques. Furthermore, the catalytic activity of CaZnFe2O4@OLECu MNPs was studied to develop the synthesis of new coumarin derivatives. These compounds were synthesized in high yield under mild reaction conditions. Furthermore, CaZnFe2O4@OLE-Cu MNPs showed excellent reusability in five runs with a little decrease in its catalytic activity.
