Entertainment and recreation have been one of the conventional patterns in different societies. The society of Safavids Era was not an exception as well. Having different recreation programs in various forms had some justifications in this society. Getting away of the problems, creating spiritual relaxation, and developing a kind of social solidarity were among important reasons of having recreation ceremonies; However, many of these celebrations were governmental or at least available documents report these kinds of celebrations. The article is searching about typology of the main recreations and entertainments which were common in Safavids Era.
