Abstract

Introduction: Today, managers not only focus on economic, physical and human capitals for development but also focusing on social capital more. In an organization with no sufficient social capital, other capitals (resources (would be wasted. According to fokoyama (1999), social capital is a set of informal values and norms causing to promote cooperation level among the group members. social capital includes dimensions of trust in organizational citizenship, mutual trust and relations and organizational partnership. The staff burnouts is one of the organizational factors affected by social capitals and causing to decrease functional outputs. Output decreasing of personal performance is a situation the one isn’t able to show competence and achieving to success in his work as the past. Functional analysis is also motivation and result of burnout (Borogerdi, 1382). Different surveys have been done in this area by Arghand et al (1393), Farahbod et al (2015), Boyas et al (2012), Gacher et al (2011) and Pirmoradiyan and khorvash (2015). The aim of this study is also to investigate the relationship between social capital and its dimensions (interpersonal trust, organizational trust, organizational citizenship, organizational partnership) with functional analysis of physical education of Tehran universities. Methodology: The present research method is descriptive-correlational. The means of collecting information is a Maslash functional analysis questionnaire (1996) (8questions) and Khodadad social capital questionnaire (1389) (44 questions) which their validities and stabilities were approved. An inferential statistics was used for analyzing data (Kolmogorov–Smirnov and Pearson correlations). Results: The results showed that there was a high and negative correlation between functional analysis with interpersonal trust (r=-0.61), organizational trust (r=-0.59), organizational citizenship (r=-0.48) And organizational partnership.
