چکیده	In this study, diamond like carbon (DLC) films have been applied on steel by electrochemical method using inexpensive bath contaning acetic acid and deiobized water. Electrodeposition has been followed by current transient measurments showing information on time-dependence of the growth process. By applying low voltage (-8)-(-20V) betwen steel (cathode) and graphite (anode) in aqueous solution containing 1 to 10 vol% of acetic acid for 1 hour, DLC films from with different contents of diamond vs. graphite carbon coordination, as assessed by quantitative Raman spectroscopy.
