TheIranianlight sourcefacility (ILSF) is anew3GeVsynchrotronradiationlaboratory in Abstract the design stage. As the main radiation source, the ILSF storage ringis based on a five-bend a chromat lattice providing an ultra low emittance of 0.27 nm rad. The radiated beam critical energy from 0.56T dipole magnet is limited to 3.35 keV. In order to produce very brighting energy radiation for hard x-ray experiments considering the lack ofs traight sections and cost, short wigglers are purposed as a radiation source in ILSF storage ring(SR). The suggested three pole wiggler(3PW) with the length of 250 mm and the peak field over 1.1 Tesla is placed beside the central dipole magnet in the SR lattice to utilize high energy (~ 35 KeV) synchrotron radiation at ILSF. In this article, the physical design of 3 PWis discussed. The magnet was designed by RADIA magnet o statics of ware where as the characteristics of the radiations are studied and compared with bending magnet(BM) by SPECTRAcode.
