This thesis aimed to study the effect of the roundtable technique in the improvement of students' English-speaking skills focusing on students' vocabulary and pronunciation at the intermediate stage in Nasriyah schools of Iraq. A pre-experimental design with one pretest-posttest experimental group design was used and data was collected by providing a pre-test and a post-test. The sample for the research is the intermediate stage, consisting of 100 students. The results showed that students in the intermediate stage had weak scores in the pre-test. After treatment, speaking skills increased significantly. The result of the data analysis showed that the mean score of the post-test was higher than the mean score of the pre-test in terms of both pronunciation and vocabulary. In other words, there was a significant difference in the students' achievement before and after the treatment by using the roundtable technique at Nasriyatis' intermediate schools.
