Abstract: In this study, the new type of poly (methyl methacrylate)/𝑇𝑖𝑂 2 -Ag (PMMA/𝑇𝑖𝑂 -Ag) nanocomposite as a highly visible light responsive photocatalyst was prepared in microemulsion system at low dosage of nanofillers. The resulted nanocomposite was characterized with SEM techniques. Removal of methylene blue (MB) as a model of pollution was investigated to confirm the photocatalytic activity of PMMM/TiO 2 2 -Ag photocatalyst nanocomposite under visible light irradiation. As an excellent result, the nanocomposite has a good stability for a long time of photocatalytic operation.
