Considering the importance of MCRs and the diverse applications of 1,4-DHPs and the limitation with the previous synthetic routes and our earlier interest in green procedures of MCRs and recyclable organic-inorganic nanocatalysts, we wish to report an efficient and convenient methodology for the Hantzsch reaction by one-pot cyclocondensation of aldehydes, ammonium acetate and ethylacetoacetate under mild and green conditions
