Abstract

With therecentexpansionofrenewable-basedenergyresources,theproliferationoftransactiveenergymarketshasbecome imperative tofacilitatethenecessaryframeworksfortheactiveparticipationoftheseresources.Thispaperintroducesapeer- to-peer (P2P)marketforenergyexchangeamongprosumersinunbalancedthree-phasedistributionnetworks.Intheproposed framework, thedistributionnetworkoperatoractsasaparticipant, negotiatingwiththeotherparticipantsandensuringthe fulfillment ofnetworktechnicalconstraintsthroughnetworkreconfiguration. Sincenetworkreconfiguration isamixedinteger programming (MIP)problem, theproposedframeworkisnonconvex;thus, globalequilibriumpointsarenotguaranteed. This paper employsanovelrelaxationtechniqueinthealternatingdirectionmethodofmultipliers(ADMM)toconvexifythedistribu- tion systemoperator(DSO)’s problemandconsequentlyestablishthenecessaryandsufficient conditionsformarketequilibrium. The modelisimplementedontheIEEE34-bussystemtoverifytheeffectivenessoftheproposedmodel.Resultsdemonstratethat utilizing theproposedmethodincreasestheoverallmarketprofit, andtheADMMalgorithmconvergeswithfeweriterations compared tothescenariowithoutnetworkreconfiguration.
