This study focuses on Raman spectroscopy system quipped with laser having 532 nm wavelength. Its laser power is adjustable up to 100 mW and spectroscopy process is available over the range of 400 to 4000 cm-1 in OMNIC software. This system is located in Raman Laboratory at Tarbiat Modares University, Atomic and Molecular Physics Department. The samples including B1 Aflatoxin in solvent (water) were prepared at 5, 100 and 1000 ppb concentrations. A number of metals such as Ag, Au, Cu and Pt have been used in different experiments to observe SERS phenomenon. Successive use of metal nanoparticles in SERS depends on attributes such as morphology (shape, size and aggregation) and on metal nature to be used as substrate.
