The purpose of the present study is to investigate deflections of the orthotropic rectangular auxetic metamaterial Plates with negative Poisson’s ratio under static loading. Based on the first order shear deformation theory (FSDT) and Hamilton’s principle, the motion equations are derived and then solved by using Ritz method (RM). In the present research, effects of geometrical parameters of auxetic cells and different uniform loading on the static bending of the plate are studied. furthermore, the accuracy of the present results is validated by comparing with Finite element analysis in abaqus software.
