The effects of strong electrosta tic interaction among highly charged dust on multi-dimension al instability of dust-acoustic (DA) solitary waves in a magnetized strongly coupled dusty plasma by small- k perturbation expansion method have been inv estigated. We found that a ZakharovKuznetsov equation governs the evolut ion of obliquely propagating s mall amplitude DA solitary waves in such a strong ly coupled dusty plasma. The parametric regimes for wh ich the obliquely propagating DA solitary wav es become unst able are identified. The basic properties, viz., amplitude, width, instability criterion, and growth rate, of these obl iquely propagating DA solitary structures are found to be significantly modified by the effects of different physical strong ly coupled dusty plasma parameters. The implications of our results in some space/astroph ysical plasmas and some future labor atory experiments are briefl y discussed.
