Sulfamic acid has been used as an active, lowcost and reusable solid catalyst for conversion of ketones and aldehydes to corresponding gem-dihydroperoxides using30 % aqueous hydrogen peroxide at room temperature. Thereactions proceed with high rates and excellent yields.
