Today, nanoparticles have received much attention due to their wide applications in various fields of biology and medicine. Nanomaterials have tremendous potential for enhancing the efficiency of drug delivery systems. The main purpose of using nanostructures in the drug delivery system is to improve the surface properties and release of the drug in a specific place and time to be as effective as possible. In this research, gelatin and chitosan has been used as polymers coating that prevents the accumulation of materials and leads to the stability of ZnO nanoparticles and drug. Glycerin was also used to improve the flexibility of drug structures. Nanoparticles can improve the performance of drug delivery systems when placed in a polymer substrate or coated with polymers. For this purpose, solutions with blood pH in the human body were prepared in the laboratory and the effect of different parameters on the amount and manner of release of diclofenac was investigated. The FTIR and SEM were also used to characterize the synthesized nanostructures.
