Rodents are among placental mammals and have many important Ecological Economics. Few studies take place in central province of Iran, regarding rodents. The present study dials with the Biosystematic identification and report of Mus macedonicus of Senejan Village, Arak County, Iran. The sampling was carried out for one full year from autumn 2011 to summer 2012 in Arak County. Varieties of traps were used to capture different kinds of rodents. The captured rodents in the form of live or dead were transferred to the laboratory of Arak University for the feature studies. In the present study, total 42 rodents specimens belonging to five genera i.e. Meriones, Rattus, Mus, Apodemus, and Microtus, were collected, out of which 14 specimens belonged to 2 species of genera Mus, that was M. musculus with 12 and M. macedonicus with only 2 representatives. M. musculus was reported from 4 sampling sites, while M. macedonicus was reported only from Senejan Village. In this investigation, the species M. macedonicus is reported for the first time from Senjan Village, Arak County, Markazi Province.
