Magnetic nanoparticles are widely used due to their many advantages such as large surface area, easy synthesis and the ability to adjust the size of nanoparticles during synthesis as well as their superparamagnetic properties. The use of magnetic nanoparticles as catalysts in multi-component reactions has attracted much attention. Bis coumarin, like other heterocycles, has extensive biological properties, which is why the synthesis of these heterocycles is so important. In this work, the catalytic power of magnetic nanoparticles was performed in the presence of three nanoparticles of iron ferrite, manganese ferrite and cobalt ferrite for the synthesis of bis-coumarin derivatives. The reaction rate was better in the presence of manganese ferrite magnetic nanoparticles than the other two nanoparticles and the reaction was performed in the presence of ethanol solvent and 70 C°. This catalyst can be recycled and reused up to 5 runs.
