In the current research polyvinylchloride (PVC) nanofiltration membrane was fabricated using dimethylacetamide (DMAC) as solvent via phase inversion method. The effect of different concentration of Al2O3 nanoparticles (0.05, 0.1 and 0.2 % wt) in membrane matrix was studied. Flux, selectivity, phase separation time in coagulation bath, tensile resistance analysis was carried out in membranes characterization. The best concentration of Al2O3 nanoparticles was found 0.05 %wt by redoubling of flux and increasing tensile resistance with almost no negative effect on % salt rejection in comparison of pure PVC.
