Abstract

Selection for the purpose of increase in new mutations is effective in only some of the sub-populations that causes to put some signatures in the genome level. These signatures are distinguishable through allele frequency spectrum and linkage disequilibrium (LD) (Biswas S. and Akey JM, 2006). Using this method which is well-known as Hitchhiking Approach has become one of the most common and most practicable techniques in identification of genomic regions which are effective on quantitative traits in different fields of genetics such as animal genetics because these regions are most often linked with QTLs related to important economical traits.
