Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of to evaluating the effect of foliar spray different concentrations of spherical nano-carbon on the physiological and metabolic traits of feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium L.). The active ingredient of this plant is Parthenolide, which has anti-migraine properties. Experiments were conducted in a completely randomized design with five treatments (0, 125, 250, 500 and 1000 mg / l) with three replications at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Arak, in 1395. The Investigated traits in this study are photosynthetic pigment content (chlorophyll a and b and carotenoid), essential oil percentage, and parethenolide content of leaf and flower extract. The spherical nano-carbon used in this study was prepared with 95% purity and 20 to 40 nm in size from the pioneering IRANian Nanotechnology Company (Mashhad). The results of the experiment showed that spherical nano-carbon concentrations in chlorophyll a and b content, essential oil percentage and partinolide content were statistically significant (P
